Needs a Good Home: Meet Natalia

Natalia, the blue Nishiki Century, was recently picked up at an auction house. Her inner beauty glowed through all the dirt and grime as she lay off to the side while folks bid on floor rug after floor rug. She sat neglected until rescued by our only bid. We took her home, fixed her up and now she's ready to find a new home.

Natalia has been fully rebuilt as a single speed with many new parts: new saddle, bar tape, brake lever, tires, chain, freewheel, bottom bracket and headset cleaned and rebuilt with fresh bearing grease.

This is essentially a new bicycle on an old frame, making her unique and functional at the same time.

The fact is that change happens whether you resist it or not so you might as well use its momentum to hurl yourself in positive directions, and that is what we will be looking to do. Some bookkeeping:
* We may change the hours a bit for the fall and winter season
* We also may be worksh…

New Photos of Natalia the Nishiki Century

Yep, Natalia is still here. We recently found a new wall to photograph against and it really brings out the best in Natalia's natural beauty. Hopefully these photos will pique someone's interest to take this lovely bike home.
Email us at friends@cogcycleschicago.com to come check out this bike. We can always arrange custom builds if this one isn't the right fit.

New Year

It's been awhile since I have been able to post anything here. Brian and I are looking forward to the 2019 bike season. This year we hope to find a storefront and once we do, we hope you'll come visit us!

In the meantime, check out some of our past builds:
