Introducing Our Old Man Line: Meet Milton

Milton the Raleigh Mixte  is a vintage step through lugged steel road bike, fully rebuilt with many new parts. Lightweight and reliable, built for many, many, many rides before needing maintenance.  Only test ridden since rebuild, and the ride was wonderful.  New parts include: rear wheel, tires, brake cables, bar tape (harlequin wrap, cloth bar tape wrapped in two different directions with two colors, and braided, and then shellacked to prevent it from getting dirty), chain, and single speed freewheel. Vintage parts include: bars, brake levers, crankset, pedals, and a Brooks saddle that has been broken in nicely and has plenty of use left. Bottom bracket rebuilt with fresh grease and bearings, and headset perfectly adjusted.

New Photos of Natalia the Nishiki Century

Yep, Natalia is still here. We recently found a new wall to photograph against and it really brings out the best in Natalia's natural beauty. Hopefully these photos will pique someone's interest to take this lovely bike home.  Email us at to come check out this bike. We can always arrange custom builds if this one isn't the right fit.

Recently Flew the Coop: Meet Peppermint Patti, Felicia & Darlene

Peppermint Patti  is a carefully and lovingly adjusted '87 Schwinn Traveler.  New tires and new vintage style bucket saddle, wheels trued and tensioned, beautiful Sakae and Suntour hardware, Suntour derailleurs and shifters (this is all wonderful Japanese stuff), Sakae crankset with black anodized chainrings, beautiful fluted alloy Sakae seatpost.  The frame is chro moly, True Temper American made tubing. Patti is off to live its best life cruising around Chicago. Felicia the Fuji Allegro  is a lugged steel chro moly frame later '80s road bike, fully rebuilt as a single speed with many new parts.  Rides so smooth, and built to last with new tires, chain, freewheel, bearings in the bottom bracket, bar tape, brake lever, saddle, seatpost and cable.  Bottom bracket and headset rebuilt with fresh bearing grease, and wheels trued and tensioned. This is truly a zippy ride, bye Felicia! Darlene  is a lovely Trek 750 tuned up by Brian. The
